Arbetskläder

Visst är jag en förespråkare av snygga arbetskläder men klädkoden för läkare här i Australien gör mig förvirrad. Helt plötsligt står det en tjomme i skjorta, slips, kostymbyxor och finskor och vill ha rapport om den kritiskt sjuka patienten jag just levererat till akutmottagningen! Som vem som helst som knallat in från gatan! (eller inte för här i Cairns är det generellt surfshorts, linne och flipflops som gäller ..)

I am, in general, in favor of  cool work wear but the dress code for doctors here in Australia makes me confused. When delivering a critically ill patient at the emergency department there can be this guy in shirt, tie, trousers and really nice shoes that prompts me to do the hand over! How would I know he is the doctor, he looks just like any other guy! (or not, because the general guy here in Cairns has board shorts, tank top and flip flops ..)
